Video Catchup 33&1/3 (the final insult)

ROUND 3.....


Let's round up a few videos of the Lane-monster. The theme here are ones she may find embarrassing later in life.

First up we've got a video of Laney attempting to feed herself. Key word here is attempting.

Next up is a video we got while on the way home. Laney is bored and trying to keep herself occupied, and she has recently learned how to blow raspberries. So we here nothing but fart noises for 3 minute intervals!

And for the closer - Laney and Indy fighting over who gets to drool on the tennis ball. I saw it first!!!!! Starts slow, so skip a minute in.

BONUS SECTION: Laney doing basically the same thing with Bailey. This is one for the dogs.

Video Catchup - Part Deux!

Still catching up from the last few weeks:

First - a vid of Mom and Laney playing at Montessory Open House. Laney will be attending here once she is old enough. A few months away.

Next up - Laney chews on some watermelon at her Grandpa Casey's retirement (aka, graduation) party. Yes, she even enjoys the rind. Tasty!

Now - this is one of my favorite videos, brings a smile to my face immediately. Laney gets a back massage from Dad - making some hilarious noises along the way. Look at those cheeks giggle! This is also from the retirement party.

Video Catchup!

We've been lazy about the blog... so time for a little video catch-up!

First up - Laney has somehow rodeo'd every pacifier in the house. Sadly, there is only room in her mouth for one.

 

Next up - one of Laney's new skills is drinking from a straw. She decided to pass on the whole "sippy cup" thing. Just wasn't for her.I give her an A for effort - technique can use some work.

And finally we have a video of feeding Laney. She makes some pretty hilarious faces.

Laney's 9 month photo shoot

Indy not sure what to do.

Indy has a luxurious memory foam bed, that Laney loves.  To make matter worse, she is usually sitting on his bed while going through his toy crate.  Indy being the polite dog that he is, is worried her will crush Laney if he joins her on his bed.  This causes some fun antics when Ryan tries to get the two of them together on the bed.

Stairs are no big deal

Laney has mastered the 1 story stair climb.  She is fast when she is not distracted by Ryan taking a video of her.  We bought a walk through baby gate for the bottom of the stairs and Indy is not a fan.. often times I need to encourage him so he will go through it.

Laney's so vain!

Laney hit a button on my net book the other day and turned on the webcam.  She was so excited to see herself that I have been putting it up for her sometimes so she can talk to and admire herself. Here is one such occasion. If you listen closely you can hear her "words."

Bath time or Dinner time?

Laney shows off her new skills of pulling herself up in the sink.  She can't leave her fishy behind, and since her hands are occupied the mouth is the most logical place. 

Indy and Laney get into a fight.. then make up

Laney is on the move and Indy is still learning how to cope.  With his hurt leg he has been even more nervous around Laney.  However, he still loves her and does not like to hear her cry - especially when he is the cause of it.

Indy has long been the subject of Ryan's orchestrations.  He is happy to pass the privilege to Laney for a while.

Yes that is a puff stuck on the side of her face.  When I took it off she looked at me as if she was thinking "Hey! I was saving that for later!"  Aunt Laurie if you don't like the bib get her a green one and it will get equal usage.

Laney and Uncle JT

This weekend we went up to Ann Arbor to go out to lunch with JT and hit up Babies R Us for a 9 month picture outfit.  We picked JT and his friend James at their apartment.  I don't know if Laney was tired or if it is stranger danger but she started bawling and was inconsolable until we pulled over and I switched seats with James. After that we had a delicious meal at five guys.

Possibly one of the cutest videos ever taken.  Laney is playing with a mini tennis ball while Indy looks on..

Where is daddy?

Ryan was outside grilling.  When he tried to come back in a certain baby was holding the door closed.  I think she was telling him to get back to work making dinner!  Those veggies won't grill themselves!  Even with Indy playing video interference this is a pretty cute video.

On the ride home from Holland we stopped by Grand Rapids to say hi to Ryan's cousin and the newest addition to their family Dexter.  We were running a little ahead of schedule so we played around in the parking lot of Panera Bread.  The adorable headband that Laney is wearing was made by my mom while we were vacationing.

This year we rented a house in Holland, MI with Jamie's family.  Laney enjoyed taking bike rides, staying up late, and getting spoiled by all of the attention.  The rest of us had a hard time sleeping because Miss Laney decided it would be a good time to start working on getting her top teeth.  Needless to say we did not get a ton of sleep during the week.
